QuickStudy is a flashcard app for iPhone and iPad that gets you from a page of notes to a study-ready deck in minutes. Scan a page, import a PDF, or paste text; the app drafts question-and-answer cards on your device with Apple Foundation Models, you approve the ones worth keeping, then practice with swipe-based flashcards and auto-generated multiple-choice quizzes. There's no account and no server — everything stays on the device.

QuickStudy is built for students who already have the notes and just need them in a form they can drill. It accepts three kinds of input — camera scans (including handwriting, which it pre-processes for sharper OCR), PDFs, and pasted text — and runs a cleanup pass on the extracted text before generating anything, so broken lines and stray characters don't turn into broken cards.

Card generation runs on-device through Apple Foundation Models. Every generated card starts unapproved; the user reviews the list and keeps only what's worth studying, which keeps decks focused instead of noisy. Approved cards feed a swipe-first practice mode and a quiz mode that builds multiple-choice questions with distractors drawn from the user's own answers, recycling missed questions until they land.

QuickStudy has no accounts, no analytics, no third-party SDKs, and no server. An optional cloud generation mode lets users bring their own API key for an OpenAI- or Anthropic-compatible endpoint; it is off by default and the key lives in the iOS Keychain.
