QuickStudy turns scans, PDFs, and pasted notes into flashcards and quizzes. Private by default, with no account.

Short

QuickStudy is a flashcard app for iPhone. Scan a page, import a PDF, or paste text, and QuickStudy drafts question-and-answer cards. New cards arrive as drafts that are kept by default: tap one to edit it or swipe left to remove it, then save the set. Quizzes are multiple choice with a “Why?” explanation tied to the source, and cards you miss come back sooner. Cards are generated on the device with Apple Foundation Models where Apple Intelligence is available. Cloud generation, for your first set or with the optional QuickStudy Pro subscription, runs only with your permission, and your text isn't stored.

QuickStudy is built for students who already have the notes and just need them in a form they can drill. It accepts camera scans (including handwriting, which it pre-processes for sharper OCR), photos, PDFs, and pasted text, and it runs a cleanup pass on the extracted text before generating anything, so broken lines and stray characters don't turn into broken cards.

On devices that support Apple Intelligence, cards are generated on-device through Apple Foundation Models. Each card arrives as a draft that shows the page and paragraph it came from; drafts are kept by default, and the user edits or swipes away anything not worth studying before saving. Saved cards feed multiple-choice quizzes with a “Why?” explanation tied to the source, and missed cards come back sooner. A daily streak, with a Streak Freeze earned for every seven days of study, keeps the habit going.

QuickStudy has no accounts, ads, or tracking. Cloud generation is opt-in: the user's first set, if they allow it, and generations with the optional QuickStudy Pro subscription run on QuickStudy's server on Cloudflare, and the text isn't stored after the cards are returned. Users can also add their own API key for an OpenAI- or Anthropic-compatible endpoint; it's off by default and the key lives in the iOS Keychain.
